First Trip to the Park

The temperature reached almost 60 degrees here in Connecticut today. I decided to take Aaron and Helena to the park so they could try out the swings. At first they weren't sure what to do, but after I gave them a gentle push they were all smiles!

"Hi Mom!"

"Just hangin' out!"

What a Difference a Year Makes

This Easter is unique because it is the second Easter that Aaron and Helena will celebrate during their first year of life. Last Easter, they were just four days old.

Easter Celebration

This year we all went out for our Easter Dinner. We had so much time to spend visiting and enjoying one another's company. It was such a great day!

Easter Morning

The Easter Bunny brought Aaron and Helena their very own Easter baskets filled with eggs and a special book. Both Aaron and Helena enjoyed "finding" their eggs and putting them in their mouth, of course!

"Is there anything else in here?"

"Of course I like Easter!"

"The eggs taste pretty good too!"

"Mr. Sheep, this is an Easter Egg."

Eleven Months Old

Aaron and Helena are eleven months old this week. They love spending time together and have started to babble and make sounds at one another. They are both able to pull themselves up on all types of furniture. Their dog Roxie is also included as part of the furniture! Aaron is cruising a bit and can walk a few steps with support. Helena is not far behind. Eating real foods such as melon, banana, gardenburger, and cheese has become exciting for both of them. Using a sippy cup is a new accomplishment and they are down to using a bottle only before bed.

Helena and Aaron are now able to easily pull themselves up in their cribs. This has taken naps and bedtime to a whole new level. Sometimes they enjoy showing off their new skills at 2:00 A.M.!

Aaron and Helena enjoy cleaning out Mommy's cabinets from time to time. As a result, mommy has had to reorganize her cabinets in order to account for small hands and inquisitive minds!

"Look Mom! No Hands!"
