The Anderson Family visits Cape Cod

We visited Cape Cod last week with Stacie's family. We returned to Wellfleet where she and her family visited for many years when she was a child. We had a great weather and spent almost everyday at the beach. Aaron and Helena were not bothered at all by the sand and sun. They loved playing in the water and Mommy and Daddy had to be careful that they did not get in over their heads. We have great family memories from our vacation. Enjoy!

Fifteen Months

Aaron and Helena are fifteen months old!
Aaron and Helena are on the move! They are both walking well on their own and enjoy exploring almost anything! Aaron now has all of this one year molars and Helena's are just starting to show evidence of popping through. At this time, Aaron and Helena are trying to master using a fork and spoon and are very upset when Mommy or Daddy forget to give them their utensils. Helena is proving to be our veggie and fruit lover, she will eat fruit or veggies before anything else. Aaron on the other hand, prefers to eat his main course first and will then move onto his fruit or veggies most of the time. Aaron continues to be a people person, waving and smiling at just about anyone who will look at him. Helena likes to check everyone over very carefully before giving up a smile or wave. Books seem to be a new love for Aaron and Helena, especially when animals are involved. They have certainly developed a bit of their own language that they reserve for only each other. Some words are coming along such as mama, car and ball. They are so much fun and they certainly keep us on our toes!
