Easter morning was filled with fun in the Anderson home this year! Aaron and Helena enjoyed hunting for eggs that the Easter Bunny hid for them. They loved digging through their Easter baskets and trying Jelly Beans for the first time! Later in the day we went to Stacie's parents home for an Easter egg hunt and dinner. It was a day filled with fun and excitment, what a difference a year makes!

Snow....in April?
Last Wednesday I decided to take Aaron and Helena outside to try out some of their new bubbles. The sun was shining as we put our shoes and jackets on. As we set up our toys, clouds came rushing in and in a matter of minutes it was snowing. The snow was short lived but it was a reminder that winter is not leaving without a fight.

Birthday Fun
Aaron and Helena turned two this past weekend. They invited all of their cousins over to celebrate. The afternoon was filled with lots of fun. The cousins all Played Pin the Nose on Elmo, colored and tried out Playdough. One of their favorite parts of the day was carrying around the balloons we bought for their party. We finished the afternoon opening gifts and having birthday cake. Aaron and Helena had a great day!

Birthday Celebration
Scott's parents helped Aaron and Helena to celebrate their second birthday a few days early during our visit. Some of Scott's extended family, Uncle Len, Aunt Judith, Aunt Millie and Aunt Greta, were able to join us as well. It was so nice for Aaron and Helena to have so many loved ones come to wish them a Happy Birthday.
Pool Time
One of Aaron and Helena's favorite activities to do during our visit was play in the pool. Before our trip,we bought swimmies in hopes that they would help the kids to play independently in the water. We were plesantly surprised that the kids loved them. By the end of our trip, both Aaron and Helena were moving through the water without any help from Mommy or Daddy.
Fun in Florida
Last week we traveled to sunny Florida to visit Scott's parents for a much needed vacation. We spent two mornings at Downtown Disney. Aaron and Helena loved playing on the slide right outside of the Lego store as well as riding the train and carousel. The weather was warm and the sun was bright, just what we needed for a few days!
