Back to School

On Monday, Aaron and Helena stared Preschool at Goodwin School in Old Saybrook, the same school where Stacie teaches. Unfortunately Aaron had an ear infection and was not able to attend the very first day, but by Tuesday he was ready. Aaron and Helena were so excited and could barely contain their excitement at the end of the day!

Landyn's First Birthday

Aaron, Helena and Natalie's cousin, Landyn, turned one this past weekend. The kids all had lots of fun playing outside together and Landyn received lots of great toys for his first birthday.

Rainy Day Fun

Scott and I took the kids to the Children's Museum in West Hartford last Sunday. It was a rainy day and the kids loved moving around as they looked at all of the reptiles and played with all of the exhibits. A favorite was the turtles and the lego race cars!

Birthday Fun

Last week, we began our month of birthday celebrations. First up was Aaron and Helena's cousin, Lexi. It was a fantastic afternoon of fun! Aaron and Helena loved the water slide and we actually had to drag them off at the end of the afternoon.

Aaron had no fear! He loved every minute!

It took Aaron and Helena a few tries to get the hang of climbing up the stairs, but once they got the hang of it, they were unstoppable!

The look of determination!

Let the fun begin!

Natalie had a lot of fun socializing too!

Natalie - 7 months

Natalie is now seven months old and she is changing every day. She now strings many different sounds together to let us know she is "talking" to us. She has two teeth and is getting better and picking up objects with her fingers. She likes to hear music and has become very ticklish!

Summer Photos

We took Aaron, Helena and Natalie to have their photos taken this past weekend. We weren't sure what to expect, but all of the kids did great, and we have fantastic photos to prove it. It was hard to decide which photos to post!

Cape Cod

We took the kids back to Cape Cod this summer to visit Wellfleet, where Stacie visited frequently with her family as a child. This year we went with Stacie's sister Jill and her family, her parents and brother Mike and his family. All of the kids had a great time exploring in the sand and surf and we all took back many special memories of the time we shared together.

Getting ready to go Sqaure Dancing. This was as excited as Aaron got for the event. He later reported that he didn't like Square Dancing because "they didn't let me dance in a square, just a circle!"

Helena loved picking up the small fish she caught in her net. She was very careful and was happy to return them to their home after a short time in her bucket.
